It is suitable for transparent dipping in wax before specimen embedding, dewaxing before staining of sections, and transparency after staining before sealing.

[ Testing Principle ]

After being fixed and dehydrated, the specimen needs to be made transparent before being immersed in wax. The specimen can be embedded and sectioned after being immersed in wax. The sections need to be dewaxed and hydrated before staining. The liquid used for processing transparent, dipping and dewaxing is called dipping and dewaxing transparent liquid. The isoparaffins and polypropylene glycol in the wax-impregnating and dewaxing transparent liquid (environmentally friendly) are miscible with ethanol (or dehydrating agent) and paraffin. Isoparaffins and polypropylene glycol can gradually penetrate into the tissue and completely squeeze out ethanol (dehydrating agent), allowing paraffin to immerse into the tissue (wax dipping) and remove paraffin (dewaxing). Polypropylene glycol can enhance isoparaffins. Wax-dissolving effect; however, isoparaffins are not volatile due to their high boiling point and are colorless and odorless, so they cause minimal environmental pollution. Wax-impregnated and dewaxed transparent liquid (environmentally friendly) is gradually replacing wax-impregnated and dewaxed transparent liquid (classic type).

【Instructions】

Immerse the fully dehydrated tissue block or the section before staining into the transparent waxing and dewaxing solution. Depending on the size of the tissue block, it will be transparent for 1 to 4 hours. If it is completely transparent, it can be divided into two steps; depending on the thickness of the section, dewaxing will take 10 to 30 minutes. .

[ Result ] All the paraffin in the sections was dissolved.

    Paraffin dissolved amount: Dip wax dewaxing transparent liquid (environmentally friendly) should not be less than 30mg/50ml

【Precautions】

1. The place of use should be ventilated; the container should be dry, as water will affect the transparency effect;

2. The amount of transparent fluid should not be too small, which should be 5 to 10 times the total volume of the tissue block; the tissue block should be completely dehydrated before being transparent;

3. Dewaxing should be thorough, otherwise it will not be easy to color.
